I have student teachers working alongside me during some classes.  This is purely voluntary and I would not want it in any way to have a detrimental effect on your experience in class.  If you’re not happy with this please come and talk to me.

About Beginner Pilates Classes

1 to 1, and 2 to 1 sessions are available. These sessions are particularly good for ironing out any specific problems you may be experiencing.

About Improvers pilates classes

After completing a beginners course or attending some private 1 to 1 sessions you will be ready to join the Improvers class. The Improvers class still allows you to work at your own pace you’ll be introduced to more challenging pilates exercises.

About Advanced Pilates Classes

Please do not be put off by the word ‘advanced’, as long as you are injury free and have been doing pilates for a while and are able to work sensibly, then please come along and have a go.

The class is made up of an hour and a quarter of hard work, exploring some of the full classical mat exercises breaking them down to suit each individual (so you still work within your own range) then 15 minutes of stretch and relaxation.

About Foam Roller pilates classes

Rolling on the foam roller allows us to passively massage our muscles and other tissues, improving circulation and releasing tension. Like any form of deep tissue massage, rolling on the Foam Roller feels like a mix of pain and pleasure that is not everyone’s cup of tea… and yet, used well, it can help relieve nagging pains and avoid injuries related to muscle tightness.

Approx 15 mins of the class will include body rolling – which will involve deep release, improve sensory awareness and re-seting the neural system, to boosts the body’s natural healing mechanisms

It can also provide a more challenging take on some traditional pilates exercises.
